Class 12

ANJALI

>> Both hands are joined in pataka.

Usage- to greet, pray, salutation (to almighty, guru, elders etc).

 KAPOTA

>> Maintain anjali, but push knuckle outwards.

Usage- addressing, respectful, to agree, bud etc..

KARKATA
>> All the fingers of both hands cross each other.
Usage- to meet, belly, unity, together, arrival of crowd, blowing a conch,
stretching, bringing a branch down, crab.
 
Class 13
SWASTIKA
>> Both hands in pataka crossed at wrist.

Usage- crocodile.

DOLA
>> All hands in pataka stretched down to the sides.
Usage- used during the beginning of the dance,lasya poses.
PUSHPAPUTA
>> Both hands in sarpaseersha are held together at the palm.

Usage- flower basket, offering flowers during rituals,
splashing water, giving, taking.

 
Class 14
UTSANGA
>> Both hands in mrigaseersha.

Usage- flute, snake charmer, embrace, shy.

SHIVALINGA

>> Right hand in shikara placed over left hand which is in ardhachandra.

Usage- phallic form of Lord Shiva.
KATAKAVARDHANA
>> Both hands in katakamukha crossed at the wrist.

Usage- being blessed, married, worshiping.
